Saturday morning....ahhh the day to sleep in, if csquared decide to sleep in that is. Luckily for us it was a sleep in day. We decide to make it Christmas tree day - which also meant donuts from Steineck's bakery - YUMMO. Even though we had a late start and the goodies were very picked over, we all still managed to get something sweet to eat. Carson a cream stick, apple fitter for daddy and apple turnover for mommy. (Sorry cooper you didn't get anything - next year buddy next year).

Now on to the tree farm...we decided to make a switch and go to McFadden Farms. (Our first year with Carson we went a Ruetenik's - that was a lot of work with a small child - poor Jay had to cut it down and drag it up and down two hills) So this year the idea that they would cut it down and haul it back was the icing on the cake. Once we arrived the young man asked our preference then told us where to find the tree.....and then said "oh there is also a bargain lot"......YES he said bargain, my ears heard him right,..right....and I swear I then heard christmas bells ringing and angels singing....but maybe that was just in my head! I didn't say a word - we headed over to the "FULL PRICE" lot.

We walked around a bit...but that bargain lot was calling my name - it was the couponer in me - the coupon in me needed to go to the bargain lot. So we made the long hike across the field, across the street and then across the other field.....and there she was.....perfect for us & a bargain....everyone was happy!
